Like say a single fan has 30 LED on it you can make each LED a different color. You set a color and the every light on the chain is the same color.ī : 5v RGB system each LED light can be changed individually. Each light can not be be controlled individually controlled. or you can connect it to the motherboard header and use motherboard header to control it.Ī: Is an older 12v RGB system. The case lighting needs to be connected to one of the two Commander pros lighting channel with the adapter cable this adapter cable. If you have more fans then free ports you use a 2 or 3 way PWN fan splitter cable. For fan speed control you would plug each fan into a free fan port on the commander pro. So you would connect the commander pro to a free USB header -> Then lighting Node core to USB port on Commander pro -> Then fans rgb cables plug into lighting node core. You can run 2 lighting node cores from the the commander pro so 12 RGB fans. For RGB fan control you would connect Corsair ICUE lighting Node Core to one of the two USB ports of the commander pro. One is for RGB control and one is to power the fans. The corsair hardware and software is the easiest to use IMO when it comes to RGB.Ģ- I don't use the fan control on the case I use the Commander Pro.ģ- The corsair QL series fans have two cable connectors that come from each fan. I use the commander pro because I hate the asus software and I use all corsair components mouse, keyboard, fan lights. Here is some of the RGB you can do with commander pro.ġ- Yes you can connect the case RGB header to that motherboard. Anyways hope this gives you someplace to start if you got anymore questions feel free to ask. You can make some cool effects with the corsair software. To control the front glass RGB I bought this cable from Ebay to plug into a lighting channel of the commander pro. It will give you 6 fan headers and 2 RGB headers and connects to a USB header on the motherboard. I use the corsair commander pro for all my RGB control they can be bought for like 70 bucks. You will need to see what tube size fits onto the pump you have and use that though. I used EK ZMT matte black tubing 5/8 OD 3/8 IDĮKWB EK-Quantum Torque STC-10/16 Compression Fitting for Soft Tubing 5/8 OD 3/8 ID The yellow dotted line is the hidden hose that goes under the shroud. If your cooling a GPU you can bring the tube out of the hole that power cables trough, that's how I did mine. If I was using that pump I would hide it under the shroud under where I have mine so it hidden under it. The bracket I linked can be mounted to the predrilled hole I have circled in blue. That pump you mentioned has a couple different models but either way you could buy a cheap tube reservoir like this one. MY pump come with the reservoir built into it. I asked this elsewhere and couldn’t get a response, should I add a front rad with intake fan setup and top rad with exhaust setup ? I can’t see many rad mounting options With this case yet I love it !. What res and powerful yet SILENT pump do you guys recommend ? anyways I decided to start with a decent pump and res combo for future proof, go with soft tuning for now and once I figure my **** out, I’ll upgrade to my dream pc and go with Hard Tubing, I had to relocate and I sold my old case and now got the Helios for my current x99 and intel 5820k pc, not planning to throw more money on hardware atm as am only considering the 5950x for my possibly near future build, for now am sticking to my current hardware, I found the case gorgeous and feel bad to make it look ugly with my previous swiftech MCP655 pump and stand-alone reservoir, also this case has no mounting holes for the res and don’t know how on earth to go about mounting that pump in this case !.
